First Bonfire of the Summer- The circle of friends and family!!

We had our first Bonfire Party of the Season. Great Food, Great Friends, and Great Times!! The kids had fun playing Soccer, Basketball, LadderGolf, Baseball, Flashlight tag and who knows what else!!! We had an entire tribe here. Of course, the central street boys- Derek, Austin, Eli, Mathew, Andrew, and Ado.Then we had Ian, Adam, Nicola, Abby, Courtney, and Casey takin care of business as well. KJ and Nick, two of the three amigos were having a blast- doing anything and everything they thought the big kids were doing. It is safe to say- they slept very well!! They were the only two cool enough to dance to the music. Ahh- youth!! We also had some teriffic "older" generation AKA the Parents here. It is alway memorable when we get together. Whether it is repeatable is another story. Thanks to our many wonderful friends, JLO, Gretel, John, Kirk, Mare, Matt, Amylou and Luke for helping us kick off the summer so successfully. We luv u all!!!

Easter Fun had by All

We took Gramma Pat to Ohio for some Easter fun. There was Kite Flying, baseball, badmitton, and I believe it's called ladder golf. ( I have also heard it called Redneck Golf) KJ and Carter built a fabulous Bunny House! The Easter Bunny would be proud. Perfect day to spend with family.

Bristol Motor Speedway 2009- Girls Rule!!

Well, the Diva's, A.K.A.- Courtney and Casey( or Dukeman and HeyHey as some so fondly refer to them as) found their inner redneck!! Although they did at least draw the line at the flannel!! There is a GOD!! The girls got to share the experience of their first ever Nascar Race!! Pretty magical if I might say so myself. I think I might have seen a tear of joy run down Kevy's proud face!!
I think they might be hooked, however; they have not committed to a driver as of yet. I think they are keeping their options open as there are a lot of hottie drivers now. They fine tuned their mad skills at Redneck Golf. Lisa did pretty awesome herself for the first time.

Spring Break is upon us!!

The Kalinke clan strapped on our best bowling shoes and hit the lanes for some awesome competition!! It was a close fight. But Big K pulled into the lead and won. I am sure the bumpers helped out his score. Derek,Austin, and Courtney were close behind in hot pursuit! Lisa, Little K, and Casey brought up the rear. KJ beat mommy and Casey for one game!!! That is very deflating to the ego!!! I guess the WII paid off for KJ!!! Lots of family fun!!
